      <image:title>Bodywork - Massage &amp; Deep Bodywork Treatments</image:title>
      <image:caption>During massage the body becomes relaxed through the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. This helps the body to unwind, the mind to switch off and encourages deep restorative relaxation. How I work I use a combination of holistic and deep tissue massage to support and rebalance the whole body alongside any specific aches or areas of tension. Techniques include rocking, acupressure points, and joint mobilisation. My treatments are adapted to your specific needs and incorporate all of my experience in different types of bodywork including shiatsu, thai yoga, abdominal massage and pulsing. I also offer a deeply nourishing pregnancy massage, for all stages of pregnancy, which incorporates aspects from my Shiatsu for pregnancy training with Suzanne Yates. My most recent offering is what I call deep bodywork. This is inspired by the Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) work taught by Satyarthi Peloquin. It is much slower than regular massage as it works on the different layers of fascia or connective tissue. It is an interactive process where the client is instructed to use the breath continuously to access the body and emotions and trauma that may be stored in the tissues. It can be relaxing as well as emotionally releasing. A session is 90 minutes and is done on bare skin. Prices £64 – 1 hour session £90 – 1.5 hour session Cancellation must be 24 hours in advance otherwise I will require 50% of the cost of the session. Concessions are available, please contact me for details. Note:  It is best not to eat for at least an hour prior to treatment, and also important to take it easy and drink plenty of water after the session to help flush out any toxins released from the body.</image:caption>

Close your eyes and join a class that is varied and intuitive and often accompanied by music and words to inspire and awaken your senses. We will build strong, fluid bodies with minds that are clear and bright and anchored in the heart. Everyone is welcome. Classes are suitable for all levels. I offer adaptations for different levels of flexibility and physical ability. £14 (£10 concession), £12 a class for block bookings.
